That In All Things, God May Be Glorified
Welcome to Belmont Abbey College! We were founded in 1876 by Benedictine monks. To this day, the college neighbors a fully functioning and continuously active Benedictine monastery on a 700-acre campus located just 10 miles west of Charlotte, NC. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, The Abbey is the only Catholic college between northern Virginia and Florida on the east coast of the United States of America.

Can we pray for you?
The monks of Belmont Abbey pray collectively six times each day and individually in between. It is their privilege to bring the needs of the community before God. These humble and godly men would count it an honor to pray for you as well.
Global pandemic, political unrest, and sensationalist news stories have increased fear, worry, and anxiety to new heights for many.
This overwhelming impact is felt by believers and non-believers alike. The stress and anxiety of the world is creeping into the lives of even the most faithful Christians — placing a strain on their faith, families, and relationships.
That’s why we’ve created a new resource based on Lectio Divina — a monastic discipline dating back to the 6th century — to help you engage in consistent and powerful prayer.
If you or someone you know has been dealing with fear, worry, and/or anxiety, we hope that you’ll find blessing and encouragement in reading and sharing this practical eBook.

Support the Abbey
At Belmont Abbey College, our mission is to educate students in the liberal arts and sciences so that in all things God may be glorified. In this endeavor, we are guided by the Catholic intellectual tradition and the Benedictine spirit of prayer and learning.
Exemplifying Benedictine hospitality, we welcome a diverse body of students and provide them with an education that will enable them to lead lives of integrity, to succeed professionally, to become responsible citizens, and to be a blessing to themselves and to others.
Your donation to Belmont Abbey College is an investment in the development of these students, improving their whole person—mind, body, and spirit. You can ensure that these men and women of virtue are making a positive impact on the world and glorifying God.
Your gift will also be used to recruit more outstanding professors and students, as well as expand the programs and degrees that we can offer.
Please make your gift using the form below. Thank you, Friend!
