Lesson Three: Freedom of Religion

In this session, Nina Shea will discuss the Freedom of Religion. She will explain what it means, what it does not protect, and why it’s essential to us as Americans. 

Nina Shea is an American international human rights lawyer and a Senior Fellow and Director of the Center for Religious Freedom at Hudson Institute. She works extensively for the advancement of individual religious freedom and other human rights in US foreign policy as it confronts ascendant Islamic extremism and other authoritarian regimes.
