Your Invitation to make a significant difference at Belmont Abbey College

Through the lens of our Benedictine tradition of prayer and work, we put Jesus Christ at the center of our lives,
emphasizing the golden rule. This requires the development of the whole person—in mind, body, and spirit.
And in true Benedictine fashion, we welcome everyone, from any background and tradition, who is committed
to fostering that growth and joining in the mission of the college. We desire building up a community that
allows for all to freely journey with the Lord.

Join the Belmont Abbey College Parent Council

To embrace your role in the Belmont Abbey Community, we invite you to consider joining our newly established Parent Council. Your advice and counsel as a parent will be important for us as we approach the 150th anniversary of our founding and discuss what the next 150 years will look like here at Belmont Abbey College (BAC). You will also be an ambassador of the college in your personal and professional community enhancing the college’s footprint locally and nationally. In addition, this forum provides a place for parents to gather and help address our students’ needs. The council offers the necessary tools to better promote the great
work happening on and around campus. We would love to have you involved!

The Parent Council is open to all interested parents and grandparents of current or graduated Belmont Abbey College undergraduate students.

These are just a few examples of the impact you’ll have.

Understanding you are the primary educator of your student, we invite you to continue in their journey towards successfully taking ownership of their faith, life, and ultimately their vocation. The opportunities we provide your student and the entire Belmont Abbey Community are only possible with support from the monks, alumni, friends and you, the parent. We want to continue to provide such opportunities and are now inviting you to help in a greater way. Working together we can prepare each student to lead a life of virtue and excellence and have a significant and positive impact on society at large.
