Belmont Abbey College has always been pro-life. From the divine providence of our founding by 3 German monks living in Pennsylvania, moving down to North Carolina and picking up their first students in Richmond on the way here, our mission has always been focused on nurturing life–whether it be educational or spiritual.
It is in this desire and mission that Mira Via, a safe haven and source of hope for pregnant mothers and their children, was started in 1994. Mira Via is located on the campus of Belmont Abbey College and is a model and resource for the pro-life cause.
