In gratitude to a generous donor, when you make a gift to the Business Department your gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $25,000.

This Founders’ Day, you can help the Business Department expand experiential learning and professional development opportunities for the students.

Business at the Abbey teaches much more than just merited financial success. In addition to imparting key skills and knowledge, the Business faculty also model and encourage honesty, integrity, and virtue in our future business leaders.

This year a generous donor has pledged a $25,000 matching gift to the Business Department. When you make a gift to the program today, your impact doubles, providing twice the support and help to:

  • Support the Investment Club as the students manage a stock portfolio and practice financial strategies.
  • Support Abbey Economic Professors to attend the Institute for American Economic Research in Great Barrington, MA.
  • Sponsor student memberships to professional associations such as the American Marketers Association
  • Send students and faculty to discipline-specific conferences to both present and network, further cultivating their expertise
  • Form active chapters of the FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) Collegiate and AMA (American Marketing Association)
  • Purchase materials and software to improve student experience
  • Support the Computer Science Department in their efforts to improve the technology lab in Stowe Hall.
  • Access course materials from the accounting educators association
  • Support the Annual Belmont Abbey on Wall Street Trip
