Founders Day- Academic Resources

Support Student Success through the Academic Resource Center

0
Goal: 2,000

Helping all students achieve success is at the core of the mission of the Office of Academic Assistance.  Therefore, one-on-one assistance is available to all students seeking to improve their study and test-taking skills, establish realistic time management plans, evaluate their unique learning style, and develop sound academic success strategies.

This Founders’ Day we are fundraising to increase our offerings at the Academic Resource Center (ARC).

When you make a gift today, your gift will provide the necessary support to:

  • Increase the number of tutors available so that we can offer booked tutoring sessions as well as walk-in tutoring. Tutoring is provided by faculty and highly-qualified peer tutors for a number of courses across the academic disciplines. Tutoring sessions are available by appointment only during scheduled hours. During the 2020-21 academic year we will not offer walk-in tutoring as in the past. With the necessary funding we could provide more tutors to meet the needs of the students.
  • Enhance Money the Abbey Way program that teaches financial literacy to students.
  • Provide more assistance to students struggling with test anxiety. We want to increase our number of tutors and resource for students who have anxieties that interfere with their ability to learn.

Your gift, of any amount, gets struggling students the support they need to overcome academic challenges and accomplish their dreams.

And, as a special thank you during the Founders’ Day Challenge, each donation of $5 or more will get a special Belmont Abbey Gift!
